The students at La Vista Junior High brought toys to donate to the National Junior Honor Society’s annual “Toys for Tots” campaign. “Toys for Tots” is a campaign, run by the United States Marine Corps, which collects new toys and distributes them to needy children in the community. Approximately 650 toys were collected during the drive. Any student that donated five or more toys also had the opportunity to “pie” a teacher at an all-school assembly.
